UNIOSUN Warns Candidates Against Admission Scams

The university advised candidates to exercise caution and avoid paying money to anyone promising preferential consideration or guaranteed admission.

According to the institution, candidates should obtain admission-related information only through its official website and verified social media platforms.

The university warned that it would not be responsible for misinformation, financial losses or other consequences resulting from reliance on information obtained from unauthorised sources.

Candidates were also advised to disregard unofficial admission messages circulating through social media platforms, WhatsApp groups and other online channels unless the information could be traced to the university's verified communication channels.

UNIOSUN Admission Strictly Based on Merit

The university emphasised that admission into UNIOSUN is strictly based on merit, subject to candidates meeting the prescribed admission requirements and other conditions stipulated by the institution and relevant regulatory authorities.

Prospective candidates are therefore advised to check their course-specific requirements carefully and rely on official university communication throughout the admission process.

The release of the departmental cut-off marks is expected to help candidates assess their chances and make informed decisions as the 2026/2027 admission exercise progresses.

The university congratulated prospective candidates and wished them success in the admission process.
