JAMB Explains How Candidates Can Access Existing Support Tickets

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has explained how candidates who previously submitted complaints through its online support platform can access their existing support tickets.

The examination body provided the explanation in an explainer video released on Thursday as part of its “JAMB Explained” series.

JAMB said candidates who have already submitted complaints do not need to create a new ticket simply to check the status of an existing complaint.

According to the board, candidates can access their previous complaints through the official JAMB support platform by following five steps.

How to Access an Existing JAMB Support Ticket

1. Visit the JAMB Support Website

Candidates should visit the official JAMB support platform at support.jamb.gov.ng.

2. Select “Ticket/Support”

Candidates using a mobile phone should open the menu and select “Ticket/Support.”

3. Select “Access Existing Ticket”

After selecting the support option, candidates should choose “Access Existing Ticket.”

4. Enter Your Email Address and Ticket ID

Candidates will be required to enter the email address linked to their JAMB e-Facility profile.

They should also enter any of their existing ticket IDs in the appropriate field.

5. Submit and Open the Ticket

After entering the required details, candidates should submit the request.

JAMB said the submitted information will allow candidates to access their existing support ticket. Candidates should then click on the ticket ID displayed in blue to open and view the complaint.

JAMB's Five Steps at a Glance

  1. Visit support.jamb.gov.ng.
  2. Select “Ticket/Support.”
  3. Choose “Access Existing Ticket.”
  4. Enter the email address linked to your JAMB e-Facility profile and any ticket ID.
  5. Submit the details and click the displayed ticket ID to open the ticket.

JAMB advised candidates who have already submitted complaints to use the existing-ticket option rather than submitting another ticket to check the status of their complaint.

The board said the guide was provided as part of its “JAMB Explained” series, which is aimed at helping candidates understand its procedures and online services.

Important Reminder

Candidates should keep their JAMB-related email address and support ticket ID safe, as these details may be required when accessing or following up on complaints submitted through the JAMB support platform.
