Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic Announces 2025 Summer School Programme


 The Management of Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic, Ijebu-Igbo, has announced the commencement of its 2025 Summer School Programme, designed to give students an opportunity to retake failed courses from the previous academic session.

According to the academic calendar released by the institution, the Summer School will run for a total of six (6) weeks, broken down into three distinct phases. Registration of students is scheduled to hold from Monday, 15th September to Friday, 19th September, 2025, while lectures will run from Monday, 22nd September to Friday, 17th October, 2025. The programme will conclude with examinations from Monday, 20th October to Friday, 24th October, 2025.

In a statement, the Polytechnic emphasized that participation in the Summer School is strictly for students who attempted and failed their examinations in the 2024/2025 Academic Session. Students who absented themselves during the examinations will not be eligible.

To complete registration, students are expected to collect eligibility forms from their respective departments, fill them appropriately, and return copies to the Academic Planning Unit (APU) for record-keeping.


The institution also outlined the following conditions:

  • A fee of ₦20,000 per course will be charged.
  • Students may register for a maximum of six (6) courses.
  • There will be no extension of the registration deadline.
  • At least 70% attendance is compulsory before students can sit for the examinations.
  • All departmental and school-level requirements must be met before registration can be approved.

The Polytechnic advised eligible students to adhere strictly to the laid-down guidelines and deadlines to avoid disqualification.
