Olabisi Onabanjo University Extends 2025/2026 Post-UTME Application Deadline

The Management of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, has announced an extension of the application deadline for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME screening exercise.

Originally scheduled to close on Sunday, 3rd August 2025, the application window will now remain open until Sunday, 17th August 2025. This extension aims to give more applicants the opportunity to complete their registration and meet all necessary requirements.

Following the change in the application deadline, the university has also rescheduled the Post-UTME examination dates. Initially set for Tuesday, 12th to Friday, 15th August 2025, the exams will now hold from Tuesday, 2nd September to Friday, 5th September 2025.

Important Guidelines for Applicants:

1. Upload of O’Level Results

Applicants yet to upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS must visit the nearest JAMB CBT centre and complete this process on or before Tuesday, 26th August 2025.

2. Completion of Registration

Candidates who have uploaded their O’Level results on CAPS should complete their registrations and print their Exam Pass in preparation for the screening exercise.

3. Compliance is Mandatory

Any applicant who fails to comply with the above directives will not be issued an Exam Pass and will be disqualified from participating in the 2025/2026 Post-UTME screening exercise. Such candidates will also not be considered for admission.

4. For UTME to Direct Entry Upgraders

Candidates who have upgraded from UTME to Direct Entry must ensure they register for Post-UTME with their new registration number, which ends with the letter “U,” to avoid loss of results.

The University’s Registrar, Dr. Bayo Orukotan, urged all prospective students to adhere strictly to these guidelines to ensure a smooth and hitch-free screening process.

Date Issued: Friday, 8th August 2025.
