Updates: JAMB activate portal for change of institutions and course for year 2025

 The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially activated the portal for candidates of the 2025/2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to apply for a change of course and/or institution. This initiative provides an opportunity for candidates to rectify errors made during registration or to adjust their choices based on their UTME scores and admission prospects. 

🔄 What Is the JAMB Change of Course/Institution?

The JAMB Change of Course/Institution is a service that allows UTME and Direct Entry candidates to modify their initial choices of courses or institutions.  This flexibility is crucial for candidates who: 

Did not meet the cut-off mark for their chosen course or institution.

Wish to switch to a different program or institution for personal reasons.

Made errors during the initial registration process. 

This correction process is conducted through the JAMB eFacility portal and is essential for aligning candidates' preferences with their academic performance and career goals. 

💰 Cost and Payment Method

The fee for the Change of Course/Institution service is ₦2,500 per correction.  Payments can be made using ATM cards or other available payment gateways on the JAMB portal.

Frequency of Changes: Candidates are allowed to make changes only twice, so make sure your decisions are final before submission.
