Eligibility: Ensure your O'Level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, etc.) are available and meet the requirements for your chosen course and institution.
Awaiting Results: If you initially registered with "Awaiting Result," you MUST upload your O'Level results as soon as they are released to an accredited CBT centre.
Multiple Sittings: You can upload results from one or two sittings, depending on your chosen institution's policy. Ensure you bring both original result slips.
How to Upload Your O'Level Result at a JAMB-Accredited CBT Centre (Official Method)
As per JAMB's guidelines for 2025, the official and primary method for uploading your O'Level results is by visiting an accredited JAMB CBT centre. You cannot directly upload the results yourself through your JAMB profile for initial submissions.
1. Locate an Accredited JAMB CBT Centre
Find the nearest JAMB-accredited CBT centre or JAMB office. You can usually find a list of accredited centers on the official JAMB website (www.jamb.gov.ng).
2. Prepare Your Documents
Go with your JAMB Registration Number/Profile Code and clear, legible copies of your original O'Level result slip(s) (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, etc.). If you are combining results from two sittings, ensure you have both slips.
3. Inform the CBT Operator
Clearly state to the CBT operator that you need to upload your O'Level result(s) to your JAMB profile.
4. Provide Details for Upload
The CBT operator will access your JAMB profile using your registration details. They will then input your subjects and grades from your O'Level result slip(s) and scan the physical copies for upload.
5. Review and Confirm Accuracy (Crucial!)
Before the process is finalized, carefully review all the details displayed on the operator's screen. Ensure that your name, exam number, subjects, and grades are 100% accurate and match your original result slip(s). Any errors here can lead to significant admission issues.
6. Make Payment
Pay the required service fee to the CBT centre. This fee typically ranges from ₦500 to ₦1,500.
7. Obtain Confirmation Slip
Request and obtain a printout or confirmation slip from the CBT centre as proof that your O'Level results have been successfully uploaded to the JAMB portal.
How to Confirm Your O'Level Results Have Been Uploaded (Crucial!)
After your O'Level results have been uploaded at the CBT centre, it is vital to confirm that they are accurately reflecting on your JAMB CAPS. Follow these clear steps:
1. Log In to JAMB eFacility Portal
Access your JAMB profile via the official eFacility portal: efacility.jamb.gov.ng. Use your correct login credentials.
2. Access JAMB CAPS
Once logged in to your dashboard, locate and click on "Check Admission Status." A new page will open, where you should then select "Access my CAPS."
3. Verify "My O'Level Result" Section. Within the JAMB CAPS interface, look for and click on the "My O'Level Result" tab or section. This is where your uploaded O'Level details should appear.
Confirmation: If your results have been successfully uploaded, you will see a clear display of all your subjects and their corresponding grades. If this section shows "Awaiting Result" (AR) or appears blank, it indicates that the upload was unsuccessful, and you will need to revisit the CBT centre for assistance or re-upload.
