Olabisi Onabanjo University Announces 2025/2026 Post-UTME Screening

Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, has officially announced its Post-UTME (PUTME) Screening for the 2025/2026 Academic Session. The screening is mandatory for candidates who wish to be admitted into the university for both UTME and Direct Entry (D.E) programs.

 Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Apply?

For UTME Candidates:

Candidates who chose OOU as their first choice institution and scored a minimum of 160 in the 2025/2026 UTME are eligible.

Candidates who did not choose OOU as their first choice but scored 160 or above in the 2025/2026 UTME can also apply, provided they change their institution to OOU on the JAMB CAPS portal.

All candidates must have obtained a minimum of five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings in relevant O'Level subjects (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB).

Candidates who printed their 2025 UTME Result Slip are also eligible.

Important: Candidates below 16 years of age by September 2025 are EXEMPTED from the PUTME screening but still need to apply and register online.

For Direct Entry Candidates:

Candidates with 'A' Level, OND/NCE/HND/First Degree results/certificates, or other equivalent qualifications who applied for Direct Entry admission into OOU through JAMB are eligible.

 Candidates with a minimum of Upper Credit for their relevant diploma certificate from recognized institutions are eligible to apply for Direct Entry admission through JAMB.

All Direct Entry candidates must upload their credentials, including their O'Level results, on the JAMB CAPS portal.

The Post-UTME screening will be conducted via computer-based tests (CBT). Here's a tentative schedule:

Tuesday, 12th August 2025: To be indicated on the Screening Pass - Main Campus, Ago-Iwoye

Wednesday, 13th August 2025: To be indicated on the Screening Pass - Main Campus, Ago-Iwoye

Thursday, 14th August 2025: To be indicated on the Screening Pass - Main Campus, Ago-Iwoye

Please note: The exact dates and venues will be indicated on your individual screening pass.

Mode of Payment and Registration

All applicants are required to pay a sum of N2,000.00 (two thousand naira only) for the screening exercise and administrative charges. Candidates are expected to create a profile and pay online through the school's PUTME portal: [http://putme.oouagoiwoye.edu.ng/apply.php](http://putme.oouagoiwoye.edu.ng/apply.php). After payment, generate your payment invoice.

Crucial Note: Candidates will NOT be able to commence with PUTME registration without payment.

2. Supply your JAMB Registration Number to continue with your registration.

3. Fill the form completely and upload the required documents. Ensure you print out your OOU PUTME Screening Pass, as this contains vital information, including your examination schedule.
